Here's the only 100% aluminum shroud and fan on the market and it is designed and built by AAP Motorsports.
The shroud comes with two high quality Zirgo (tm) brand fans (MSRP $79.95 Each) pushing a combined 3300 CFM! The shroud will mount to the factory radiator and all aftermarket radiators except for the PWR. The PWR requires and additional bracket that we can supply for an additional fee.
These shrouds are available in two finishes, unpolished raw aluminum and a highly polished aluminum finish.
The fit/finish on the aluminum part of the product is good. Mine was shipped w/o the spacer for the PHR radiator (or it fell out of the box during transit). But a simple aluminum standoff is easy to make/buy. My only complaint about the product is that when it arrived, the fans had become disattached from the shroud. The plastic screw holes on the fan holding the fan to the shroud had broken. There are additional holes in the fan, so I re-attached the fan using these holes. However it seems as if the screws are slightly too large for the holes, as a few of the holes cracked when the screws were threaded in. This is either a problem with the screws chosen by AAP, or because of britle plastic being used on the zirgo fans. Either way, replacing the sheet-metal-type screws with machine screws and a locknut behind the fan worked very well for me.
This product is probably best used by either a Supra used for drag racing, or daily driving. The airflow through the radiator is *much* improved while driving slowly (return road of a drag strip, or commuting through town), but the airflow through the radiator at speed (highway or road course) is less than with the stock fan. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking to keep their car cool on a road course as you'd be *much* better with no fans at all once the car is at speed.
