ACT XTR6 - Xtreme w 6 Pad Disc Clutch Kits
The ACT Xtreme pressure plate has a radical increase in clamp load developed from a single specially designed diaphragm. ACT employs several secrets (just good engineering) to maximize load and reduce flex. The result is maximum torque capacity and long life, while maintaining good release clearance for fast, clean shifting.
Xtreme - XT Pressure Plate Features:
- Clamps load increased to 50% to 120% over OEM
- Pedal feels moderate to stiff
- Many SFI Certified to insure safety
- Recommended disc: Street or Race
Solid Hub (6 Pad) Disc Features:
- Increased torque capacity
- Faster shifts, reduced inertia
- Very good durability but shortened spline life
- Absorbs more heat than 4 pad
- Harsh engagement, some chatter
- All clutch kits include throwout bearing and alignment tool (when available).
