ACT XXR6 - Max Extreme w 6 Pad Disc Clutch Kits
The ACT XXR6 Clutch Kit is for driver who needs a clutch that will hold up on the track. The Maxx Extreme pressure plate matched with the solid hub 6 puck disc make a great combo for your race only machine.
ACT designs and manufactures their parts using unique engineering ideas that include proprietary trade secrets. This is especially true when it comes to diaphragm spring technology and what separates ACT from other brands. As a result, ACT clutches are unequaled for their consistent feel, high torque capacity, good durability and long wear life.
Maxx Xtreme Pressure Plate Features:
- Clamps load increase of 70% to 150%
- Pedal feels stiff to very stiff
- All SFI Certified to insure safety
- Recommended disc: Race
Solid Hub (6 Pad) Disc Features:
- Increased torque capacity
- Faster shifts, reduced inertia
- Very good durability but shortened spline life
- Absorbs more heat than 4 pad
- Harsh engagement, some chatter
- All clutch kits include throwout bearing and alignment tool (when available).
