Overview
AEM Tru-Time adjustable cam gears enable an engine's cam timing to match its tuning state, whether it is stock, modified, forced-induction or naturally-aspirated. These cam gears are used by top race teams throughout the world and are a must for applications where the cylinder head or block is milled or where aftermarket or reground camshafts are installed. AEM gears are the most durable on the market. They have cam gears on high performance engines that have run 100,000 miles with no wearing of the belt or belt surface. AEM cam gears feature precision cut gear teeth that are guaranteed to match the Original Equipment (O.E.) drive tooth profile. Each kit includes comprehensive installation instructions and AEM decals.

Performance
AEM TRU-TIME Adjustable Cam Gears increase horsepower and torque without having to change the camshaft(s) and are must-have items for engines that are milled, forced induction, high compression and/or utilizing aftermarket competition cams. These gears enable users to match cam timing with their vehicle's tuning state by advancing or retarding the cam profile in one-degree increments via true laser-etched markings. Precision-cut gear teeth ensure no premature wearing of the belt surface and AEM's anodizing on the gear teeth is lab-test proven as the hardest anodizing process on the market.

Available in a multi-spoke, five-bolt design for most vehicles and our classic full-faced, three-bolt design for select applications.

811/02/2011PreludeThis Cam gear is made for your stock camshaft only! because the key way is part of the camshaft. If you've upgrade your camshaft like i have, you will have to find a key way to locate the cam gear on the camshaft. I could not find one the right size so i got a larger size key way and filed it down slowly until it fit snug. You maybe able to get one from a engine shop. It did not fit under the timing belt cover as the bolts kept rubbing against the plastic cover. I had to cut the cover to compensate this. When adjusted properly you will feel the difference. other than these issues it has done what i needed it to.
