The AMS intercooler features cast aluminum end tanks for durability and was designed by the AMS engineering team with A356 T6 alloy aluminum. This quality construction has improved flow over sheet metal end tanks and includes gusseted brackets to prolong life and prevent cracking.
Incorporated are 3" inlet and exit ports and each intercooler is hand TIG welded in a jig for a perfect product and tested to 50 psi to ensure maximum performance. These are manufactured by the same company that produces AMS's intercoolers for their 1400hp drag cars and time attack race team.
By bolting on this intercooler to a stock vehicle drivers can expect to see over 10whp gains and vehicles running increased boost with a tune have seen 40whp gains near red line.
