The flow of air is not only limited to the outside of a car. To maximize cooling capabilities, a radiator needs a direct flow of air to allow an engine to maintain consistent temperatures on the race track. Because of structural gaps above the radiator, the flow of air could escape making the radiator not as efficient as it could be.
To help improve the flow of air into the radiator, APR Carbon Fiber Radiator Cooling Plates can be utilized to channel the flow of air directly to the radiator. This will improve the efficiency of the radiator while adding a high-tech, race inspired look to your engine bay.
Dry Carbon Fiber Manufacturing Process The APR Radiator Cooling Plates are constructed by high temperature and high pressure dry carbon fiber production process, making them durable and able to withstand elevated engine bay temperatures.
Designed for Easy Installation The APR Radiator Cooling Plates are designed to factory specifications for easy installation and clean fit and finish.
Fade Resistant Epoxy Coating To ensure durability, the APR Radiator Cooling Plate uses fade resistant epoxy coating to reduce the effects of high engine bay temperatures.
Received the item in a timely manner and it looked great. Although it did take about an hour and a half of grinding and drilling to make the holes line up. Car does seem to run cooler. Would have been nice to have an exact fit.

Quality is what I expected however fitment with Spoon original snorkle was not right. Had to use dremel machine for fitment. Cut was smaller and alighned too far left.

Not so easy to install, you must crope the part, but now it's all right.

The quality of the materials used in the cooling plate was excellent, but the fitment was way off. Some of the bolt holes in the cooling plate didn't line up or were to small. The biggest issue was it didn't have an opening for the stock coolant reservoir tank. The tank was hitting the plate making it impossible to install the plate. That would be okay if I planned to relocate it or get an aftermarket tank. Other than that it would've cleaned up my engine bay.
