The true taper design of the COBB Inlet Hose increases the air flow volume that is delivered directly
to your turbocharger, providing much more efficient power and response. The smooth inner walls
of the COBB Turbo Inlet reduce the air turbulence that occurs in the factory accordion style inlet.
While the steel reinforcement of the COBB Turbo Inlet Hose provides excellent stability, the silicone also
allows for some torsional flex. Which will prevent any connection separation due to engine movement
on the OEM engine mounts while under hard acceleration.
The COBB Tuning 3 FP Turbo Inlet Hose is designed for use with Forced Performance 3" turbos. The bulge design of the COBB Inlet Hose increases the cross-section to 3.5 to maximize air flow delivered directly to your 3" Forced
Performance turbocharger, providing much more efficient power and response. The smooth inner walls of the COBB Turbo Inlet taper gradually at both ends and reduce the air turbulence that occurs in the factory accordion style inlet.
Positives: Good inlet pipe, the silicone keeps the temps down and the shape makes for better flow over the stocker.
Negatives: Doesn't retain the factory mounting location and just floats - competition's (CPE) inlet pipe has the mount formed into the silicone
