The patented "Kangaroo Paw" ventilation design is a unique process manufactured by Disc Brake Australia for their performance rotors.
Directional cooling vanes, which are found on most rotors, only work in one direction. The DBA patented design allows cooling in two directions. This means DBA's Slotted and Drilled Rear Rotors are not side specific since the cooling happens internally in both directions on each rotor.
In addition to their unique design, DBA also sets their self apart from other brake rotor manufacturers by operating their own foundry in Australia. This allows them to maintain the most consistent quality available on the market.
