The Defi-Link Advance system allows gauges and displays to be attached to the Advance control unit with a single "DAISY CHAIN" wiring system.
Gauges, and Advance Control Unit are equipped with microcomputers. Distant gauges can be operated at hand.
The system is also designed to allow all sensors to be attached to the Advance control unit, so that gauges can be mounted separately without the need for multiple tubing or wiring to each gauge.
This unit must be purchased to operate Defi Advance BF Metric series gauges.

The unit is great, but in all the advertisements I've seen on the web non specify that you cannot use two of the same gauges with one controller. In other words, if you want to use two EGT gauges you need two controllers. No fault of HPF, but I think it is kind of misleading that Defi says it can daisy chain up to 7 gauges when there is some limit.

the daisy chain link up is a great idea, but if you get a faulty unit (like I did) it can be a nightmare. Especially if you try to send it back. But once you get a working unit... it rocks
