EBC packaging error caused excessive install time.
The box of rear pads contained 3 inboard pads and one outboard pad. Of the 3 inboard pads, only one had the wear indicator riveted to it. I removed one from the old pads and installed it on one of the new pads. I also had to grind off the rivet spuds off of the remaining inboard pad to turn it into an outboard pad so the OEM shim would fit it properly. Turned a simple Sunday morning brake job into a bit of a PITA.

| 5 | 10/15/2007 | Charger | The advertising for the EBC Red Stuff is that it has reduced brake dust, etc. The pads were easy to install, however, the amount of brake dust is ridiculous! My OEM pads never got my wheels dirty. Now they are black as can be. Also, I have had an ongoing issue with the pads squeaking even after having my rotors cut. I will not buy these again and will stick with the OEMs. |
