Having a proper rotor is necessary to make the most out of your brake pad performance. Endless Basic Rotors are manufactured using a proprietary heat process and heat resistant paint to make a high quality rotor that will last as far as looks and performance. The Endless Basic rotor is appropriate for both the track and street.
Material: FC Steel (Flake Graphite aka Gray Cast Iron).
Heat Processing: Continuous hard driving generates high temperatures, causing the rotor surface to expand and contract, potentially creating cracks. Should cracks form, friction against the brake pad is reduced. Heat processing the rotor prevents this from occurring by stabilizing the material. This process also increases rotor life and gives it a characteristic gold color/hue.
