Stage 3: Road/Street & Track/Slicks Use
All Hyper Clutches come with a steel flywheel and a 6-puck disc with cerametallic facing, and a spring center damper. The disc is generally smaller and thinner than the OEM disc making for lower inertia and therefore quicker, easier shifting. The higher clamp load and cerametallic friction facings give approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch and generally higher than other single plate clutches.
As with all cerametallic clutches, the street drivability may be marginal due to chattering and harsh engagement characteristics
An additional feature of the pressure plate is a series of turbine-like, air flow enhancing vanes that keep the clutch cooler under extreme operating conditions to improve wear life.
Notes
stage 3 and up do not come with throw-out bearings
**Flywheel Adaptor #N351 11 521 from Mazda required.
Easy install, great clutch, but the flywheel was not much lighter than the stock.

Very good. I use it in my racercar, which Subaru WRX Sti 2002 and has now 2.5 l engine. Torgue is 600 Newtons. Response to gas pedal improved, because the clutch set is much lighter than original clutch and flywheel.
