These manifolds are manufactured out of the highest grade 304L stainless, and with a wall thickness of 1/8" it will never crack. To ensure the ultimate in flow and to equalize back pressure at all cylinders ETS uses a 10deg. Merge collector to join the runners to the turbo flange. This collector makes a smooth transition of each runner into the turbo, and furthermore it harnesses the pressure wave action of each cylinder to help scavenge the others. This results in less back pressure, quick spool up, and great top end power. It is truly a case where everything gains and there is no trade off (except in expense and production time). The ETS manifold has been flow bench designed and dyno and track tested to ensure that nothing was left on the table.
