After encountering the collapse of the OEM intake air hose on engines that had been re-chipped, Forge's development team set about the manufacture of a hose with re-inforced walls to remedy the problem. The replacement Forge silicone hose was also aerodynamically improved internally to maximise power by removing the existing restrictions.
