The GT Spec Trunk Reinforcement bolts to the lower back portion (toward rear of car) of the trunk. This helps prevent chassis movement along the same principles as a strut bar works. For additional reinforcement use in conjunction with 4-point linkage bars or for a complete suspension upgrade use with rest of the GT Spec bars.
