For maximum exhaust flow and quicker turbo spool up, HKS offers downpipes for racing use. Each mandrel bent down pipe is a bolt-on application that will mount to the stock turbo and/or to a HKS turbo upgrade kit. Certain HKS Downpipe applications are made from coated stainless steel or polished SUS304 stainless steel piping. All HKS down pipes are FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY.
Notes
(OFF ROAD USE ONLY)
For the MKIV Supra, this 75mm midpipe is necessary to purchase when you buy any Blitz, Greddy, or HKS Turbo kit. You can not re-use your RMM (or other brand) 3" downpipe with a single turbo kit. This pipe bolts up to the downpipe included in the single turbo kit and extends to your cat-back exhaust for a perfect fit. This pipe is mild steel. We recommend the Blitz midpipe over this one because it is larger and 100% stainless steel.
Great part for now as a BPU Supra can still be use when I go single Turbo vs others that would eventually have to go this route

The build quality is good. The only thing not right with it is you have to get the elbow seperate, and if you plan on big power, look elsewhere to a pipe with the elbow integrated. The gains over the stock pipe were noticable and immediate. It spools much quicker and will peg the stock gauge, when before it was only about 5 psi.

this downpipe is very well made and it looks great. the only bad thing about it is that its only 2.5" at the turbo. i payed for a 3" pipe so i thought thats what i was getting.

The HKS dp fits like stock. While it's not a FULL 3" dp it performs way better than stock. If your in a bind with cash and need one asap it's not a bad choice. If I had to do it again (I might anyway)I'd save up more money and get a better one. The only other thing I don't like about it besides not being a full 3" is that it's aluminized steel not stainless.
