This is a brand new clutch compound that is capable of withstanding very high pressures with no chatter. It is incredibly slippable, and engages very close to stock. Shifting gears is like cutting melted butter.
This kit comes with the brand new HPF clutch and your choice of the ACT Heavy Duty Pressure plate or RPS "Max" Series pressure plate. The clutch disk for the ACT pressure plate is slightly thicker than the one for the RPS. The ACT version of the HorsepowerFreaks disk will stand up to more abuse than the RPS version due to the thickness change, but the RPS version will still hold over 800rwhp and has held up to 9 second passes.
Horsepower Holding with the following pressure plates:
Stock = 2200 lbs (will easily hold 550rwhp)
South Bend = 2450 lbs (will easily hold 650rwhp)
RPS = 3100 lbs (will easily hold 800+rwhp)
ACT = 3550 lbs (will easily hold 900+rwhp)
For higher HP holding, go with the new HorsepowerFreaks Feramic clutch.
Choose the non-sprung disk for a stock flywheel, or a sprung disk with a lightened flywheel. Do NOT run this clutch with a Fidanza flywheel. They have a tendancy to fuse.
Please install unsprung disk with pointed center facing rear. Install sprung disk with spring side facing rear
REBUILDABLE: $125 to have new pucks installed on your old HPF Disc. (Takes 2 weeks once it arrives back to us)

The clutch is awesome at holding the power. It held my 770rwhp with no slipping for about 4 months. Only bad part, it will crankwalk your motor if you arent careful. I dont even have a clutch bypass switch and it still crankwalked. If you have this clutch or plan to buy it, dont hold down the clutch for any reason other than changing gears and pray your motor holds up.

I am using this clutch with the RPS flywheel. It engages great. I can't really say if the pedal pressure is the same or greather than stock because I just went from a clutch that was extremely harder than stock. In light of that, the clutch pedal pressure is very light. Feels like how I remember stock. Does not chatter at all unless I'm running the A/C, and then it is hardly noticable. I am very pleased.

Chattered and had relatively harsh engagement for about 1,500 miles after installation. It is much less grabby now when starting out from a stop (daily driving) and it has held 560 rwtq on the dyno so far. So far so good.

This clutch is so smooth. Shifting gears is like cutting butter. Definitely run it with a stock flywheel to get the most out of your clutch. It holds ALL the power.
