HorsepowerFreaks Cast Aluminium Intake Manifolds
These bad to the bone intake manifolds are included with all of our turbo kits and we're now selling them separately (without the lettering). These manifolds have been optimized for huge midrange torque and big time topend power (in excess of 1000bhp). They have been designed using the latest in technology and have been flow benched to ensure that they maintain less than a 1% cylinder to cylinder variance. Flow variances between runners cause individual cylinders to run richer or leaner than others which is far from ideal. As A:F ratios are usually measured after the exhaust is collected together, tuning individual cylinders accurately that have uneven distributions of air is nearly impossible. When this is the case, the leaner cylinders may get preignition even though the A:F ratios are within limits. These manifolds have been designed to prevent cylinder to cylinder variances which allows you to optimize the powerband and safely make more power. This manifold has also been designed to provide perfect cylinder to cylinder distribution for nitrous or methanol by maximizing the molecules in suspension and directing them evenly to each cylinder.
This manifold has been specifically designed to fit the E46 (2001-2006) M3 only. It includes a threaded hole for an intake air temp sensor as well as a methanol fogger. It also includes a nipple for the idle motor.
This manifold will more than likely NOT fit any models of BMW other than the 2001-2006 M3.
The HKS Super Sequential Blow off valve in picture is not included with purchase. You will need to purchase this separately.
