The most distinguishing point of this exhaust is its large defuser (115mm). When the exhaust gases from the engine pass through the defuser, it will emit a very high tone. The double defuser is also designed to keep the bumper from burning. Basically, the inner defuser emits most heat, then the outer dissipates the remaining heat evenly, preventing the bumper from burning.
The rear section of the Kakimoto R, has been polished so as to give it a mirrored look. This makes the Kakimoto R more attractive. Also, the Kakimoto logo is imprinted onto the muffler.
