The Short Shifter is made with high strength billet steel and nickel plated for ultra low friction and corrosion resistance. The throw is reduced up to 40%, and shift knob height is reduced by 1 to 3 inches depending on the model. These shifters provide a more precise shift and allows for quicker shifting without drastically changing the overall driving experience. They have been designed specifically for the more aggressive tuner who demands the most extreme shifter in terms of both looks and performance.

The part seemed to be of good quality materials and works well now that I have installed it. There were NO installation instructions/documentation shipped with it and there was minimal on the website. Through instructional videos on YouTube and some mechanical figuring I installed the part correctly and it works well. Some of the hardware from the original did need to be re-used and i had to delete the push-down feature for reverse but it has a more rigid and faster racing feel to the shifts so I am very satisfied. I recommend this product if you are confident, resourceful, and comfortable with mid-level repairs/upgrades.

The product performs very well, it wasn't that easy to install but I was only stumbled for a couple minutes then got back right in. It's still at a comfortable height and love how quick it gets into gear when I need it.
