Gear Lube:

  • Fully-synthetic formulas created from polyol ester base stocks, offer excellent lubrication under extreme conditions

75-90 LS
Our most popular gear oil, this is the preferred product in nearly all car and light truck differentials, both conventional and limited-slip. 75W90 is preferred for most racing applications. It contains friction modifier which is recommended for limited-slip units. 75W90 Gear Oil can be used in many transmissions and transaxles; however, other Red Line lubricants have better frictional properties for rapid synchronization. Exceeds API GL-5.

75-90 NS
This GL-5-type gear oil doesn't contain the friction modifiers for limited-slip hypoid differentials. This makes the transmission synchronizers come to equal speeds more quickly, allowing faster shifting and much easier low-temperature shifting. Can also be used in racing limited-slip differentials where weak spring design causes too much wheel spin.



MT-90:

  • Appropriate coefficient of friction for most manual transmission synchronizers (other's synthetic gear oils are often too slippery for proper synchro engagement)
  • Red Line offers lubricants to pinpoint nearly every transmission application
  • MTL, MT-85 & MT-90 are not for use in differentials with hypoid gears
  • Excellent gear and synchro protection, balanced slipperiness for easier shifting in cold climates
  • Excellent for high- and low-mile transmissions
  • Compatible with petroleums and other synthetics


Popular in Nissan, Toyota and Mazda manual transmissions and trans axles as well as other selected applications, this is a 75W90 GL-4 Gear Oil that s slightly heavier than MTL. Provides excellent protection of gears and synchronizers and its balanced slipperiness provides a perfect coefficient of friction, allowing easier shifting. High performance gear protection and longer synchro life. Also eliminates notchy shifting, even when cold.



MTL:

This 70W80 GL-4 Gear Oil (SAE 5W30/10W30 engine oil viscosity) is designed for use in manual transmissions and trans axles. Provides excellent protection of gears and synchronizers and its balanced slipperiness provides a perfect coefficient of friction, allowing easier shifting. High performance gear protection and longer synchro life. Also eliminates notchy shifting, even when cold.



Shockproof Gear Oil:

  • Unique lubricant with solid microscopic particles offers low drag/high protection
  • Relatively low viscosity, yet cushions gear teeth under extreme pressure
  • Helps to prevent tooth breakage, resists throw-off
  • Avoid use with pumps, coolers, and filters as unique medium and affinity for metal can cause clogging
  • Designed for wet sump transmissions and differentials with splash lubrication


A unique lubricant containing a suspension of solid microscopic particles as an extreme pressure agent--unique solid dispersion which cushions gear teeth to help prevent tooth breakage and allows the use of lower viscosities. The viscosity characteristics allow the lubricant to resist throwoff and provide a film thickness greater than an SAE 250 grade, with the same low fluid friction as with our 80W140. Recommended for heavily-loaded racing differentials and transmissions, Off Road racing and problem gearboxes. Offers a "best of both worlds" balance of relatively low drag and the utmost in protection.


Synthetic ATF:

Red Line Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluids are designed to provide excellent low-temperature shiftability and improved thermal stability over petroleum ATFs. These fluids provide a much lower viscosity at cold temperatures for quicker shifting and their balanced frictional characteristics provide smooth and consistent shifts over extended drain intervals. The superior stability compared to petroleum ATFs also allow high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches, which leads to transmission failure.

This product is an approved GM Dexron II, Ford Mercon, and Mercedes Benz Automatic Transmission Fluid and is suitable for GM, late model Ford, or any vehicle which recommends Dexron IID or Dexron IIE or Mercon for refill. Superior stability allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches. Also provides improved shifting in cold weather.

1002/27/2007I really couldn't be happier with this stuff. It cured my 180,XXX mile transmission of all notchiness and any difficulty of shifting. Transmission now shifts silky smooth and without fuss. The best thing you can do for your transmission is run this gear oil.
