Gains of 25-35 RWHP are possible with the Tanabe downpipe. By increasing exhaust flow out of the turbo, you are able to increase efficiency, power and response dramatically. An exhuast gas temperature hole has been included (with cap) for those who wish to monitor their gas temperature with a guage. The Tanabe turbine tube is the perfect complimentary item for the ultimate exhaust system for turbo charged applications.
It isn't a complete 3" DP! The first flange is made for an OEM Turbo-Elbow. Apart from that it is the best DP I've ever installed!

Pipe itself is fine. As with some other pipes, this one does not come with gaskets of any kind. Additonally, as with RMM and others, the pipe is bent so that it makes attaching the #2 O2 sensor a stretch- literally!

The product was a direct install. Be aware though that the downpipe does eliminate the first catalytic convertor. This downpipe is polished Stainless steel (looks like 321). It was easy to install. The only issue i see is that on the turbo contector side. The opening is only 70mm but not even less than 1/2" down. It opens up to 80mm???
All in all. This is a good down pipe and I have had no issues. Also it comes with an extra port to put a wideband sensor on it.
