| 8 | Gerald Dornan | 300C | "These brakes are exactly as advertised. A very solid product, not quite as good as the OEM but consider the cost difference. Great value... next time I am going for the grey stuff" |
| 3 | Isa Abdulla | 350Z | "It's vibrates and feel when pressing the brake pedal, the pedal feels hard or spongy when pressed, the brake pads are horrible. and Noisy" |
| 9 | MATTHEW EL SABRY | A6 |
| 5 | Jonathan Soriano | STi | "It makes excessive break noice as if I never changed brake pads at all" |
| 9 | John Little | RX8 | "works great, still not quiet, far less dust then the stock pads, but most pads on a rx8 arent quiet, i haven't taken to a track yet but during my aggressive drives they have yet to fade on me" |
| 1 | Nathaniel Spall | Charger | "I did not like these pads. They are very loud and stiff. Do not buy these pads!" |
| 7 | Geoff Jensen | WRX | "Easy to install, looks really cool (red pads on black calipers). I was quite honestly expecting more from these. It seems to me that they're about on-par with stock pads. They're a bit noisier than stock, which i'm fine with - noisy brakes mean working brakes!" |
| 8 | Nikhil Raval | TSX |
| 9 | Rajesh Chatrani | Celica | "These pads installed easy and are great quality. Braking power is outstanding even initial bite is good from cold. When warmed up these pads really shine!! Pad life is great but you do notice more wear on the discs, but hey, better braking means more friction so its expected. Overall, a great product." |
| 9 | Charles Brillantes | MR2 | "Great brakes, I came from stock to ebc slotted/dimpled with these pads and they perform great so far, still breaking them in." |
| 8 | Rianto Soputro | 350Z | "Good pads, pulled up the car quickly and felt very strong. However can be a little bit noisy on light application. Haven't used it for a lot of mileage so still cannot tell whether it is harsh on the rotors or not." |
| 7 | Jimmy Cooper | Accord | "The pads work great, better than expected.
However, EBC has some quality control issues in their packaging dept. that need to be improved upon. I was in the middle of pad/rotor replacement, when I discovered that there were essentially 3 outboard pads and only one inboard pad (the one with the pad wear indicator spring riveted to it). The box of rear pads also had a similar packaging error. Of course, this was all happening on a Sunday, so there was no returning them for exchange, had to make do wit what I had. I removed the wear indicator from one of the old pads and installed it on one of the new pads, and completed the job.
Pad performance - 10
EBC quality control - 5" |
| 9 | Remington Lee | 300ZX | "perform great, easy to install...
only thing I don't like is the different smell under hard braking. also the "break-in" coating made my rims really dirty, but been clean ever since" |
| 5 | Nicholas Malewicki | Charger | "The advertising for the EBC Red Stuff is that it has reduced brake dust, etc. The pads were easy to install, however, the amount of brake dust is ridiculous! My OEM pads never got my wheels dirty. Now they are black as can be. Also, I have had an ongoing issue with the pads squeaking even after having my rotors cut. I will not buy these again and will stick with the OEMs." |
| 10 | Daniel Messner | Eclipse |
| 5 | nathon wheat | Skyline | "easy to install." |
| 10 | Charles H. Nolan, Jr. | X5 |
| 10 | Jimmy Rayburn | Eclipse |
| 8 | Mark Wilson | Impreza | "easy to install, pop out pop in. good braking ability. only drawback has been some noise at extremely slow braking. vibration noise. can be normal for new brakes though. quality pads
