| 1 | phillip stanley | Altima | "your service sucked.....have your red stuff brakes on the rear...they squeal..irritating as hell." |
| 8 | Gerald Dornan | 300C | "Performs as advertised. A very good lower cost alternative to the OEM. A little less stopping power but very consistant." |
| 9 | Kevin Bujak | Altima | "Almost zero brake dust, even after break-in period. Good initial bite on the rotor from under low to moderate to heavy braking. Performs just as admirably in the wet." |
| 10 | Patricio Lara | Cabriolet | "thanks verry good" |
| 10 | Tod Cato | Elise | "Peddle effort is less than the OEM pads and dusting is greatly reduced. I'll use EBC Red Stuff on my next brake job as well" |
| 8 | Rianto Soputro | 350Z | "Good pad, fitted at the rear and felt it can pull up the car real quickly. Haven't done enough mileage to determine whether it's harsh on the rotors or not. But it can be a little bit noisy on light brake application." |
| 7 | Jimmy Cooper | Accord | "Pads work great!
EBC packaging error caused excessive install time.
The box of rear pads contained 3 inboard pads and one outboard pad. Of the 3 inboard pads, only one had the wear indicator riveted to it. I removed one from the old pads and installed it on one of the new pads. I also had to grind off the rivet spuds off of the remaining inboard pad to turn it into an outboard pad so the OEM shim would fit it properly. Turned a simple Sunday morning brake job into a bit of a PITA.
Pad performance - 10
EBC quality control - 5" |
| 5 | Nicholas Malewicki | Charger | "The advertising for the EBC Red Stuff is that it has reduced brake dust, etc. The pads were easy to install, however, the amount of brake dust is ridiculous! My OEM pads never got my wheels dirty. Now they are black as can be. Also, I have had an ongoing issue with the pads squeaking even after having my rotors cut. I will not buy these again and will stick with the OEMs." |
| 9 | Daniel Messner | Eclipse |
| 5 | nathon wheat | Skyline | "The pads were easy to install, but they do squeal horribly. I've heard that it has to do with the slotted rotors." |
