Vehicle Startup

Vehicle does not crank over

  • Faulty Battery: Battery may be insufficiently charged. Check battery to insure it falls into correct voltage and amperage ratings.
  • Faulty Starter: Remove Starter, have starter tested at a test facility or auto parts store. Replace if faulty
  • Insufficiently Secured +/- Connections: Check all +/- connections to make sure there clean and secured properly.
  • Insufficiently secured ecu wiring: Check all ECU wiring is fully inserted and secured.
  • Faulty clutch switch: The clutch position switch is "clipped" into the clutch master cylinder body, it may have come loose or may be faulty.
  • Faulty ignition switch: A faulty ignition switch may prevent power from being distributed properly thus depriving certain components including the starter from powering up. Have the ignition system checked
  • Faulty key: A damaged or faulty key will not allow the starter to engage. Have the Key tested.
  • Faulty DME: A damaged DME may prevent the starter from engaging. Have the DME tested
