The all new GrimmSpeed Unequal Length EJ Header is a perfect example of this.

Our Unequal Length Header for the EJ-Series engines is very much the same. There are countless options out on the market for high-performing equal length header, but if you want to keep that classic Subaru rumble, there aren't many great options.

The OEM EJ header really hasn't changed much in the past 20+ years and it shows. The tight geometry and long cross-pipe between the two collectors are not optimized for flow or power. While the smaller diameter and volume may be good for low-end spool, the factory header gets choked out higher in the rev range. Simultaneously, it's known that swapping to a more-equal length manifold with larger diameter runners offers additional performance potential. We set out to create a header that would be the best of both worlds, offering great performance and the unique sound that makes your car unmistakably a Subaru!

What is the GrimmSpeed Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy?GrimmSpeed-branded products are warrantied to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

If a GrimmSpeed-branded product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy and you must provide proof of original purchase to be fully covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care/installation, negligence, reasonable/normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors, coatings and materials over extended time and usage. GrimmSpeed cannot be held liable for any damage to your vehicle and/or its components caused by failures associated with the previous statement. Damage not covered under warranty may be considered for repair for a reasonable rate or a reduced price for a replacement piece (a fee will be charged for return shipping).This warranty is available in the United States and Canada.

This warranty does not cover products sold by GrimmSpeed that are not GrimmSpeed-branded products.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

The GrimmSpeed website sells GrimmSpeed-branded discontinued, special make-up, and slightly blemished products at significant discounts as 'factory seconds' products. This warranty does not necessarily cover any products purchased as 'factory seconds'. The GrimmSpeed Warranty Department may repair 'factory seconds' products for a reasonable charge and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

Is normal wear and tear covered?

The GrimmSpeed Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, but it does not cover normal wear and tear over extended time and usage. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your GrimmSpeed product, like all performance parts it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the limited lifetime warranty include denting, abrasions or scratches, color changing from heat in exhaust components and so on, less common examples include flex-section wear and fatigue cracks over an extended period of time.

How do I send my product in for warranty?

The first step is to contact support@grimmspeed.com and let them know of your issues/concerns. From there, a customer service representative will personally work with you to determine the best path forward. For the quickest service, please include your contact information and photos of the failed product along with a copy of your receipt/invoice in your initial email.

Upon request from your customer service representative, your product must be returned directly to The GrimmSpeed Warranty Department at 650 Taft St NE, Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN, 55413. All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured. GrimmSpeed cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages.
