Take your JK up a level or 3 Premium Aluminum Long Arm Kit for your JK For the Past 5 years, we've been testing 7075 Aluminum links in the ARTECON to ensure that they could handle the abuse of both extreme, heavy duty rock crawling and normal daily driving.

We've been pleased with how they've handled the rigorous abuse and how much weight is saved by using is compared to standard steel tubing. The JKU Aluminum Long Arm Kit starts with our ARTEC ABUSE PROVEN 2.25 inch outer diameter, aerospace grade 7075 Aluminum lower links front and rear and 2.0 inch OD front upper link and couples it with Rock Krawler Suspension's Rear 3-link Conversion Upper Link and Bracket.

The aluminum links are out-fitted with time-tested Rock Krawler brand Krawler Joints with a 1.25 inch thread and 9/16 inch hole and matching jam nuts. These are the same joints shipped in nearly every Rock Krawler lift kit so you know they stand up to the test of time and abuse...not to mention there are millions of them on the streets.

Each link is threaded with both a Right Hand thread and a Left Hand thread at opposite ends so it is easy to adjust the length for fine tuning. We've also included wrench flats on each end of the aluminum link so you can easily tighten your jam nuts without marring the aluminum.

From there, you can add on additional components to attach the links to the vehicle if you haven't already purchased them previously. For the Front 3-link you will need the HD Crossmember with integrated Link Mounts, the 3-Link Frame Mount Bracket, and the Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount that attaches to a flat top truss.

This bracket replaces and attaches where the OEM passenger side axle UCA bracket used to be. For the rear you will need the JK Long Arm Rear LCA Frame Brackets, and the JK Rear 3-Link Bracket that attaches to a flat top truss. This bracket replaces the OEM rear axle UCA brackets with a single center mounted bracket on top of a truss. These components are all offered separately as an add-on item since many have either already purchased some of these items, or some of these brackets are included in other kits such as our JK 1 ton swap kits. If you need everything, just click the check boxes next to the appropriate accessories.

We also recommend an aftermarket adjustable rear tracbar, our HD rear axle tracbar bracket, and our HD rear LCA brackets. Some of these components are already included in our JK 1 ton swap kits. If you are using one of our JK 1 Ton Swap Kits, you will need the JK Rear 3-link bracket and it will need to be modified as shown on the product page (JK4430). Some add-on brackets not needed since they are offered in the swap kits

To complete a full swap, simply add Springs/Shocks or Coilovers, and extended brake lines and you are dialed in!

Included in the kit:

  • 5 - RH, 5 - LH - 1.25 inch -12 tpi x 9/16 inch hole Rock Krawler Joints
  • 5 - RH, 5 - LH - 1.25 inch -12 tpi Jam Nuts
  • 4 - MASSIVE 2.25 inch OD 7075-T6 Aluminum Lower Links

Who is Artec Industries?

Artec Industries is a company that was founded in 2003 in Tucson, Arizona, and is known as Artec Welding back then. The company started when the company's president Artie Nuttall bought a 1987 4Runner to join his wife's family offroad excursion.

As a talented welder himself, he started welding structural and decorative projects for various high-end commercial and residential projects. But his passion for offroading has never left him.

So in 2010, Artec Welding was rebranded as Artec Industries and started developing products for the automotive industry.

From Building Houses To Building Offroad Parts

The company used its experience in welding to create some of the best offroad parts available in the market today. They offer parts such as ultimate high steer arms, quart crates, but they are better known for their axle swap kits and axle trusses.

Continuous Company Growth

As more people patronize their products, there is a need for Artec to relocate to a bigger facility to accommodate their customers' growing demand. From a small garage, the company is now situated in a large facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is a strategic location that allows them to distribute their products more efficiently.
