Schuberth GmbH is a German manufacturer of protective headgear, producing helmets for the Bundeswehr, Formula One, motorcyclists, and industrial workers. The company was established in 1922 in Braunschweig, Lower Saxony, and has produced safety helmets for 90 years. Schuberth produces motorcycle helmets designed specifically for aerodynamic performance, as well as the helmets BMW Motorrad provides under their own brand name.
Over seven decades, Schuberth GmbH has represented this. Since the 1940s, they have been manufacturing various types of protective helmets. Beginning in 1954, motorcycle riders were allowed to wear Schuberth helmets, which was the beginning of a successful story that continues to this day. Today, Schuberth develops and manufactures, in Magdeburg on the Elbe, helmets for worker protection, police, fire departments, Formula 1 racing, and motorcycles. In the Magdeburg factory, there are more than 370 employees. Their engineers are continually developing new solutions and conducting research in their own wind tunnel. In this regard, they are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 certified. All Schuberth helmet padding and interior features are Eco Tex 100 certified. All interior components, including polystyrene, plastics, and adhesives, are tested in independent laboratories for their compatibility with the skin and selected for their health and safety. Typically, solvent-free varnishes and paints are used to give helmet shells their glossy or modern matte exterior finish. Their machine suite is continuously inspected and updated to conserve energy and resources. They are currently implementing energy-efficient LED technology for plant hall illumination, waste-free production process development, and a comprehensive health management program.
