Porsche 997.2 Turbo Competition X-Pipe Exhaust System
Let the true character of the Porsche 997.2 Turbo be heard with an aggressive yet refined sound to match it's performance. Proprietary X-Pipe design, 3" piping, and quad race resonators encourage maximum power gains and an exhilarating increase in flat six engine note and turbo wail.
DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING: We wanted to form a Porsche exhaust that's as aggressive as possible while minimizing drone - greater volume with a greater amount of pops and burbles on deceleration. Support for high power was another consideration - making 3" tubing a necessity. We experimented with adding a mixing chamber to our X-Pipe design. The analysis in 3D CAD software showed a general increase in velocity gained downstream of the mixing chamber across a band of measured pressure and temperature levels. This produces optimal flow characteristics, reduced back pressure for higher HP, and enhances the sound quality of the exhaust system. Quad race resonators make a discernible difference in reducing drone while encouraging a more refined exhaust note
POWER:Third-party testing was performed on a Mustang Dyno at R/T Tuning. Baseline power with SOUL Competition X-Pipe Exhaust System and a COBB off the shelf map was 554 whp and 642 ft-lbs of torque. A custom tune pushed power to 562 whp and 631 ft-lbs of torque with significant gains from midrange all the way through to redline!
SOUND: The 997.2 ushered in a new level of refinement to the Porsche 911 with a nice increase in cabin quality. The exhaust makes itself known in the cabin without being overly aggressive - you have to try very hard to make the system drone. You'll be treated to a greater presence from the turbos and a bolder flat six engine note.
CONSTRUCTION: Each exhaust system is made from mandrel bent T304L 3" .065" wall stainless steel tubing, straight-through race resonators with a full metal packing design for maximum durability, and laser cut brackets for perfect fitment. Choose from several hand-finished exhaust tip options to get the look that suits your 997.2 the best - or reuse your factory tips. Mikalor Supra Heavy-Duty Clamps are included to securely hold our exhaust tips onto the exhaust system.
BOLT ON AND GO: Each exhaust is rigorously quality-checked and tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment. Thorough installation instructions are included in the box for a straightforward install that can be performed by most DIY enthusiasts. Valves are controlled by the existing valve button, our valve controller fobs, and are compatible with HomeLink!

HJS CATALYTIC CONVERTERS have a three (3) year warranty and are covered except when used with leaded race fuel or any type of fuel additive. Such non-manufacturer specified fuels will damage any catalytic converter and warranty is voided when these fuels and additives are used.
Soul Performance Products will repair or replace the catalytic converters once (1) during the 3 year period, or the option to apply credit towards a catless equivalent product will be available.
Sound is not covered under any warranty. We will do our best to meet expectations but sound is subjective. There are ways to adjust sound level and we will work with you to find the right one for you.
Soul Performance LLC under this warranty, in any event, will not be liable for loss of use, inconvenience, consequential or resultative damage. Our soul obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of our product.
Second Hand Components: Product warranty applies to the original purchaser on record, for the original vehicle on which the product was installed. Second hand owners can have any possible parts repaired at cost or have the option of a reduced cost replacement of the same or similar product (requires sending in original component).
COATINGS
PVD coatings are covered for one year from defects. Physical damage, or any damage incurred from customer negligence void any warranty claims.
Jet-Hot ceramic coatings are covered for life under Jet-Hot's Lifetime Warranty.
