What says performance more than a set of tubular control arms! After all of the time and effort expended on your ride, you definitely can't let your stamped OEM control arms detract from all that work.

Finish your suspension off with these new tubular control arm systems from Ridetech. Built with all of the care and experience you have come to expect from us. When you combine the performance benefits with the elegant design of these arms, there is no question. You want these.

Development - StrongArms are developed by Ridetech in Jasper, Indiana on an actual running, driving vehicle. This allows us to properly address All fient and performance issues. It also allows us to document an installation, demonstrate the installation to our sales techs and dealers, and allows ongoing evaluation of the performance of the StrongArms

Design - We think the best way to design any component is to keep it simple. That is why Strong Arms are designed with as few components as possible. They are manufactured in-house on our 4 axis tubing bender that allows precise, repeatable bends that no other machine can achieve. We can create elegant tubing bends that would otherwise require several separate welded components.

The perimeter of the StrongArm is contoured to allow maximum wheel clearance and turning radius.

Components - Powder coated in a satin black finish and completely assembled with ball joints, bushings and cross shafts. To reduce deflection and stiction from the suspension movement Injection Molded Delrin Bushings are used, which are also impregnated with Teflon to eliminate the need for lubrication.

Geometry - Properly designed control arms will add more positive caster and will position the wheel in the wheel opening for maximum clearance. Ball joint angles are repositioned to prevent binding.

Technology

RideTech greatly improves the ride quality and handling performance of your late model muscle car. Choose coil-over suspension, air suspension or monotube shock absorber upgrades. RideTech’s engineering team starts from the ground up with impact forged aluminum shock absorbers bodies that are vastly superior, with respect to quality, to anything offered from the factory. As such, RideTech offers an unbeatable 1,000,001 mile warranty. Like high-end exotics and race cars, RideTech shocks are monotubes. The design provides precision rebound and compression control as well as enhanced reliability.

Coil-overs are popular upgrades for Mustangs Camaros and LX muscle. A Coilover is simply a shock surrounded by a coil spring; it places the shock and coil in one linear unit. A Coilover is a simple solution for most suspension designs, but can often be difficult to understand what you need. Fortunately, RideTech has your back with 21 years of suspension development.

Choosing a coil-over begins with two important decisions. The first is choosing the function of your vehicle. If you are building a performance car, then you will want a coil-over that has an adjustable shock. This allows the driver to tweak the “stiffness” of the suspension with a twist of a knob located on the shock. This adjustment knob controls the shock valving which controls the damping of the coil-over. This is a huge benefit for drivers who want to fine-tune their performance for the track, autocross, or the road.

The second most important decision in choosing a coil-over is finding your desired spring rate for the coil spring. Spring rate is the force required to compress a spring 1″ and is an important factor in how comfortable your car rides and your ride height. RideTech has worked out ideal spring rates for your vehicle and intended driving style.
