HKS Co. Ltd is an aftermarket automotive company based in Fujinomiya, Japan. The company specializes in creating high-performance parts designed for Japanese made vehicles. It was founded back in 1973 by Hiroyuki Hasegawa who used to work with Yamaha Motor Company, along with his partner Goichi Kitagawa and was financed by Sigma Automotive. The initials of the three were used to create the brand HKS.

The company has its humble beginnings in a small shed at the foot of Mount Fuji, catering to gasoline-powered engines used for farming. In 1974, they were the first company to introduce a turbocharger for commercial vehicles and was a hit, especially for those Japanese tuners who wanted more out of their vehicles. Today, HKS has become the brand everyone knows about when it comes to performance adders and has expanded its reach worldwide.

Utilizing the latest theories, the suspension is designed to move supplely. Being able to follow the road sueface smoothly, and eliminating Unnecessary movements, while improving ride comfort.
By suppressing abrupt movement at the limit range, the car's movement can easily be felt and controlled, when actively shifting the vehicle's load. It is also recommended for beginners to practice sporty driving.
Due to the sporty nature, the vehicles factory setting are set to slightly understeer for rear stability for safe driving on the circuit. Those who want to aggressively move the rear and have oversteer, please tighten the rear damping adjustment dial.
By reviewing internal parts, high durability of 3-year/60,000km warranty has been achieved.

Warranty for Exhaust System

HKS provides a warranty to the original purchaser of HKS exhaust systems against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year. The warranty applies only for vehicle specific exhaust systems. Other products such as metal catalyzers, front pipes, exhaust manifolds, and center pipes are not covered.
