TOM’S is a factory-supported racing team and tuner of Toyota and Lexus vehicles with their own special edition of certain Lexus models. TOM’S Co. was founded in 1974 by a Toyota factory driver named Nobuhide Tachi and a Toyota dealership engineer called Kiyoshi Oiwa. Despite an oil recession at the time, the pair overcame the tremendous hardships and put all their effort into the motorsports brand TOM’S (Tachi Oiwa Motor Sport). Its head office is located in Tokyo, Japan.
Thanks to their hard work and dedication, TOM’S Racing was able to rise into one of the most prominent corporations in motorsports history. Currently, TOM’S is heavily involved with Super GT, Japanese Formula 3, and Super Formula. The brand continues to take the expertise and knowledge it has from the motorsports world and translate it into its product lineup.
