UMI’s bolt-in rear coilover kit allows full ride height, spring rate and damping adjustability while trailing arm adjustment enables fine tuning of instant center. The upper mount reinforcement is a direct bolt-in and holds a true 2-1/2” racing coilover with T-Bar. The FEA designed, and race proven, lower bracket bolts in using the standard trailing arm mounting hole as well as an additional reinforcement hole normally used by the standard rear shock. The 2-hole trailing arm adjustment enables fine tuning of instant center location for drag launch or auto-x/road race rear steer tuning. The Viking shock is 19-way adjustable in both compression and rebound and ensures the perfect setting for every application. The 2-1/2” coilover springs are available in 12” 175lb for drag use, 12” 225lb for street use and 12” 250lb for auto-x/road race. 100% designed, manufactured and raced out of Philipsburg, PA-USA and always US materials.
This kit is for lowering your car 1-3″ below factory. Contact support@umiperformance.com if planning stock or raised ride height. No refunds if you choose the base kit with lowered ride height then want your car to be tall”
Umi 4057 Is Direct Bolt-On Only When Used With A Gm Axle Housing And Stock Gm Brackets. Aftermarket Housings Vary Widely In Design And Layout, Which Means The 4057 Bracket Will Not Bolt On.
Installation and Performance: Rear coilover kit is designed for 1” to 3” lowering. When used for drag racing we recommend insurance welding the brackets to the rear end. Vehicles running 10.50 or faster or running slicks require welding. Bolted brackets are suitable for street performance, auto-x and road race.
Spanner Wrench & Thrust Bearing Kit: Spanner wrench tool is used to adjust vehicle height while shock stays mounted. This wrench is needed to make height adjustments. The thrust bearing kit is designed to be placed between the spring and the spring seat attached to the shock. This makes for easier adjustments since the spring seat is rotating on a bearing. This kit is recommended for easier adjustments but is not needed to complete the installation. We do not recommend adjusting height on the car without a thrust bearing kit.
Optional Shock Tower Brace P/N 4058-4059- P/N 4058 & 4059 is designed to tie the left and right rear shock towers together for additional chassis reinforcement. UMI’s P/N 4058-4059 has been designed to clear most exhaust systems however we cannot guarantee fitment with all exhaust systems. Rear shock tower brace kits car only, does not kit wagon or El Camino.

UMI Performance is an aftermarket company that specializes in building high-quality suspension parts. But before they were known as a suspension manufacturer, they manufactured precision parts for major brands such as Corning Asahi, Sony, and Bell+Howell. They may have shifted industries, but their dedication to creating quality products has remained the same.
All of their products are made in-house, which allows them to control every aspect of their products. 100% made in the USA, they can maintain their high standards and create suspension parts that can tackle any street, whether it be the fast corners of a race track or the bumpy road to your grocery store.
UMI Performance actively participates in various racing disciplines since most of their product engineers and sales team are racers. Because of this, they can test their products through real-life racing scenarios, which helps them gather data that can help improve their products.
Each product is designed to replace factory-installed parts without any significant modification. It is carefully measured to ensure that it would fit perfectly into the vehicle and comes with a step-by-step instructional manual, giving their customers a hassle-free installation experience.
