Smittybilt is an aftermarket company that was founded by Basil Smith. In 1956, Basil Smith aka “ Smitty” decided to start a small machine shop in his garage which he named Rock-ett Products. As an offroad enthusiast himself, he tried to develop parts and equipment for various trucks and Jeeps. Over the years the name changed into Smittybilt but nonetheless, they have maintained the tradition of creating quality parts for various four-wheel-drive vehicles.
