The aero parts specialists at Varis have been busy designing some of the most aggressive and functional aero kits to come from Japan. They started a line of demo cars they called "Kamikaze", implying the vehicles were motivated by a divine wind.
The success of the R35 GT-R Kamikaze-R as a time attack and circuit vehicle made choosing the Z34 Nissan 370Z a logical choice. Since the Fairlady Z, like the GT-R, has also enjoyed a storied history as a Japanese sportscar, it seemed the right platform to address next.
This aero kit would need to exude a sense of speed and aggression while retaining a "cool and sporty appearance". Varis designed the Kamikaze-Z with similar elements proven successful on the Kamikaze-R. The Z34 build started with Varis' new Arising II Wide-Body Kit. To further distinguish the Kamikaze-Z, generous use of carbon fiber at the front and rear make up the splitter, canards, rear diffuser and wing. These components work together to help direct airflow and generate downforce. Vented, wide fenders help to relieve pressure built up in the wheel wells as well as to contribute to the Z's menacing aesthetic.

Varis develops products that boast both aesthetics and functionality. Aerodynamics parts should not merely be regarded as decorations, but also for the improvements they can provide. Varis focuses on producing carbon parts that offer weight reduction, improved downforce, and high rigidity.
In recent years, Varis has launched the VRS brand and is developing aero parts for European cars, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen. It also started selling RIDOX-brand aero parts from 2011 and launched the Magnum Opus brand in 2012. Varis is looking to continue increasing and expanding its lineup in the future.
Varis manufactures all of its products in-house. Back in 2010, it started the Varis Semi-Dry Carbon (VSDC) manufacturing method and began offering lightweight and super-rigid aerodynamic parts. In Japan, Varis sells its products at mass retailers and shops nationwide. It also exports and sells Varis products overseas through exclusive distributors like Vivid Racing.
Vivid Racing carries an impressive lineup of Varis aerodynamic parts, including bumpers, hoods, trunks, spoilers, wings, side skirts, fenders, mudflaps, and much more!
