Multiple breather options/locations are available for standard breather tanks to dry sump engines running; pop-off valves, vacuum regulators and crankcase pressure sensors. The advanced baffle system keeps oil inside the motor and allows maximum breather capacity. These are the most advanced valve covers on the planet.
We took great care in design of the baffling in the PHR Billet Valve Covers. These are not just a simple aluminum plate. Our baffling design accounts for hard acceleration and the 2JZ's poor drainage at the back of the head, keeping oil inside the motor instead of spilling into a catch can. Air passages are designed to separate oil from air, allowing the air to escape while the oil remains.
The valve cover is the crowning piece of you build. Other than the coil cover, nothing is as important to making a beautiful 2JZ. Your build deserves it's crown.
Anodizing, and polishing options achieve the look you want. And we can customize the logo and block off plates with CNC or Laser engraving of car names, shop logos, team logos, and tributes. Make that motor pop! Build the show piece that will impress anyone who looks under your hood.
The PHR Billet Valve Covers are designed to maintain factory 1/4 turn oil cap fitment. These means you can use any oil cap that is 2JZ specific, allowing you to vary the look of your motor to your specific taste.
Any OEM or aftermarket coil cover designed for the OEM valve covers will work on the PHR Billet Valve Covers. This is also true for IGN1A Coil Kits. If it fits OEM, it will fit these covers. No other valve covers offer the customization features of the PHR valve covers.
Breather manifolds allow for attaching breather lines, pop-off valves, or regulators to the valve cover. These can be used on the rear ports for traditional breather tank setups or even run on the front ports for forward mounted breather tanks or vacuum pump setups. See the pictures below for how they are used.
The Non-VVT-i valve covers have four port locations (behind square plates). A typical setup using two breather manifolds will occupy two of these ports, requiring two block-off plates for the remaining ports. We also offer sensor plates that can be installed in these locations. For setups using our cam-driven vacuum pump, it?s possible to run all four ports with breather manifolds.
