The step pad areas in Westin s Platinum Series oval nerf bars are indented instead of cut out, maintaining the structural integrity of the steel tubing and preventing internal corrosion. 90-Degree mandrel bending at the corners means that there are no creases in the bars. This minimizes the chances of chips and rust at the bends and makes for sleeker, better-looking step bars.
