Artec Industries

Model #BR1060

Shopper Award

This bracket is intended to both be highly functional and good looking - like most all our brackets. More pleasing to the eye than some of the c-channel looking towers on the market, its design also adds strength to this bracket by offering a larger bracket base.

This bracket is for use with large joints that have a 2.625 inch mounting width. This includes, but is not limited to, 1.25 inch rod ends (heims) with misalignment spacers, and rebuildable cartridge style joints with a 2.5 inch or 2.625 inch width (Johnny, Flex, Ballistic, etc). The hole size is 9/16 inch and can be drilled for larger sizes.

The holes are set at 7, 8, and 9 inches from the axle centerline to allow you to fine tune your suspension. This bracket is made from .250 inch thick steel and comes in four unwelded pieces that jig together for easy assembly. Choose between 3.0 and 3.25 inch axle tube diameters and if your axle tube is a different size, the bracket can be easily modified to fit your axle size with some simple fabrication tools.

This bracket is especially useful if your tire size changes and your suspension needs to be adjusted. Rather than cutting off the old bracket and installing a taller one, simply move you link to the next higher mounting hole.

This bracket is intended for use with a 3-link suspension where only a single straight bracket for your upper control arm is needed. We offer a 10 degree offset version, for those who are needing angled towers.

Features:

  • Apex Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount
  • 2.63 Inch Wide
  • Material: 1/4 inch thick mild steel
  • Axle Tube Diameter: 3.0 Inch
  • Includes 1 Single Bracket
Note: This product requires general welding and fabrication skills. Welding should only be done by a competent welder. Artec Industries implies no guarantees or warranties and is not liable for improper installation.

Who is Artec Industries?

Artec Industries is a company that was founded in 2003 in Tucson, Arizona, and is known as Artec Welding back then. The company started when the company's president Artie Nuttall bought a 1987 4Runner to join his wife's family offroad excursion.

As a talented welder himself, he started welding structural and decorative projects for various high-end commercial and residential projects. But his passion for offroading has never left him.

So in 2010, Artec Welding was rebranded as Artec Industries and started developing products for the automotive industry.

From Building Houses To Building Offroad Parts

The company used its experience in welding to create some of the best offroad parts available in the market today. They offer parts such as ultimate high steer arms, quart crates, but they are better known for their axle swap kits and axle trusses.

Continuous Company Growth

As more people patronize their products, there is a need for Artec to relocate to a bigger facility to accommodate their customers' growing demand. From a small garage, the company is now situated in a large facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is a strategic location that allows them to distribute their products more efficiently.
